The EYEPORT® Vision Training System has earned
significant notoriety for its scientific research and recent 510-K clearance
as a medical device from the FDA. Read below to learn more about this
exciting breakthrough.
Put
to the Test
In the fall of 2003, Pacific University College of Optometry conducted
the first independent clinical study of the EYEPORT Vision Training System.
This carefully-controlled study demonstrated that using the EYEPORT Vision
Training System for 10 minutes a day, over a 3-week period, resulted in
statistically significant improvements in…
- Aiming, tracking, focusing and teaming
- Dynamic depth perception
- Reading efficiency and comprehension
Additionally
Improvements in reading performance as well as certain visual enhancements
were still present 3 weeks after participants stopped training.
The EYEPORT also demonstrated the potential to enhance the performance
of individuals with unique visual demands, including pilots and athletes.

EYEPORT and Little League Performance
In 2004, an independent study was completed on the effect of
using the EYEPORT on the batting performance of little league baseball
players. Results of that study demonstrated a 90% improvement in batting
performance after only three weeks of use. Shortly after the completion
of the study, this team emerged from the loser’s bracket to win
their first league championship.

EYEPORT and Law Enforcement
In 2005, a study was completed with the Maui County Police Department.
The results of that study demonstrated that daily eye exercises with the
EYEPORT significantly improved
- Visual Attention
- Speed and span of perception and…
- Marksmanship after use of the EYEPORT
Additionally
Police recruit trainers noticed visible improvement in
- Speed of visual reaction time
- Accuracy of visual recognition and…
- Speed, accuracy and appropriateness of physical response.
Furthermore
After using the EYEPORT, one of the sergeants that supervised
the program competed in the Hawaii State USPSA Championships and won the
Open division and overall high score.
EYEPORT Receives 510-K Clearance from FDA
In 2006, EYEPORT received clearance from the Food and Drug Administration
(FDA) for the treatment of poor accommodative and vergence facility, convergence
insufficiency and large accommodative lag (in non-presbyopic subjects).
EYEPORT and ADHD
In 2007, a pilot study conducted at Northeastern State University
College of Optometry demonstrated that doing eye exercises with the EYEPORT
significantly improved visual attention, focus and depth perception in
subjects previously diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
(ADHD).

"I teach yoga for the eyes, and I'm
very happy to recommend the EYEPORT to my students, especially those with
serious time constraints.
It does so much, so efficiently, with
very little investment of time. My students who use it are astonished
at how fast their visual performance improves, and how much younger their
eyes feel."
